Workshop 2: 08:30 bis 12:15 Uhr - Postnatal: The Role of Pilates in helping repair a Diastasis Recti and Pelvic floor problems - 3,5 Stunden inklusive 15 min Pause

In this workshop part theory, part practical, we will discuss what constitutes a diastasis recti: the main risk factors and how to assess  the divide with the Rectus Check. Similarly we will discuss common pelvic floor issues. Drawing on this information we will examine how we should adapt our Pilates teaching and discover if Pilates really can help. In the practical we will explore Body Control Pilates exercises which benefit the postnatal client .

Workshop 3: 13:00 bis 14:30 Uhr - Better Mental Health - 1,5 Stunden

It is very easy to forget that Pilates is both mind and body conditioning. In this workshop we will look at the more common mental health problems, such as Depression and General Anxiety Disorder. We will discuss what a fantastic job you, as Pilates teachers, are already doing to help your client's mental health and then discuss ways we can, perhaps, help further. The workshop will conclude with a relaxing Body Control Pilates class.
